The Seiko HDB006K1 brings genuine field watch character to the popular 5 Sports collection, part of a newly launched Field Series inspired by classic military-style timepieces. The glossy black dial pairs bold LumiBrite-coated Arabic numerals with a bi-directional rotating compass bezel, giving it a distinctly rugged, outdoor-ready look that still transitions comfortably into everyday city wear.
Inside is Seiko's in-house 4R36 automatic movement, 24 jewels with manual winding capability and approximately 41 hours of power reserve, so it keeps running even when set aside overnight. A day-date display sits at 3 o'clock, and the see-through screw case back gives a further look at the movement in action.
At 41mm across and 13.2mm thick, the solid stainless steel case and matching bracelet strike a balanced, comfortable fit, secured by a three-fold clasp with push-button release and secure lock. Water resistant to 100 metres, it's built to handle daily wear, travel and the outdoors without hesitation.
