The Seiko Prospex Speedtimer Solar Chronograph HBJ003P1 brings classic motorsport styling into a modern, low maintenance package. Inspired by the original 1969 Speedtimer, this racing green chronograph pairs a two tone aluminium tachymeter bezel with a striking dial designed for quick, at a glance readability, with 12 LumiBrite hour markers keeping it legible in low light.
Powered by Seiko's solar charging Calibre V192, the HBJ003P1 offers roughly six months of power reserve on a full charge and keeps time to within 15 seconds a month, so there's no battery to replace and no winding required. A power reserve indicator keeps you across charge level at a glance. The stainless steel case measures 41.4mm across and 13.3mm thick, with a curved, anti reflective sapphire crystal protecting the dial from scratches and glare.
The chronograph itself times up to 60 minutes in 1/5 second increments, with a small seconds hand and date display adding everyday practicality. Water resistance rated to 100m and magnetic resistance of 4,800 A/m make this a genuinely durable everyday watch, not just a design piece. The stainless steel bracelet is shaped to the case and tapers toward a three fold clasp with push button release, for a secure and comfortable fit on the wrist.
